Bring it On

The ringers are tired.

Too many four o'clock starts this week.
Their mother's a little crotchety as well.

We're officially starting Christmas tomorrow.  A one day fling at Christmas shopping, followed by a night, then day, then night at the beach.  A day doing battle with the crowds tomorrow should do wonders to lift the mother's spirits.

I'm even taking the father.
Ho Ho Ho.

  2. ah, another way to test marital bliss, shopping in the crowds, and containing oneself within the confines of a car with four overtired kids (and bags of shopping that kids should not be peeking into). Fun times. It will make those two nights and a day at the beach really relaxing. Sleep in. 4am is rather unreasonable (even though its nearly rudely daylight at that time!)

  3. ps hope father remembers to go shopping for the mother of his children. Mine didn't. Getting used to it. No surprises here.

  4. Nothing like Christmas shopping with the crowds to diminish the spirit! I'm sending the father here tomorrow as well, along with 3 children. The other 3 are going to help me find a suitable tree to decorate. I know who got the best end of the deal!?

  5. Have a lovely time! Does the shopping centre have a movie theatre. Send them to the movies to give you some peace.

  6. Love it or hate it, we nearly all have to brave the crowds in the shops at some point. Hope there is some time to relax too, beach sounds nice.

  7. Taking the father and hitting the shops equals one brave mama! Ringing might be the easier option. Happy holiday to you all! X

  9. I think the mother and the father and the ringers need a little break - especially the mother. Enjoy the salt water. Mare

  11. Merry Christmas to all you nice ladies. Don't worry Big Matt will look after Fiona, I'm sure. After all who do you think will be slaving over the hot Barbie attending to the suckling pig?
Hope you all get rain if you need it. Sharon I reckon the boss will come good - Don't let me down Trev.

  12. You are a brave woman Fiona. I really hope that the Christmas spirit takes over and works its magic on everybody making your trip calm, productive and a lovely memory. Ok...that's probably not realistic, but I hope you get a great cup of coffee at some stage at least:) Meredy xo
